Alcohol Reduces The Volume Of The Brain

Reasonable consumption of alcohol can reduce the risk of heart disease, but at the same time the consumption of small amounts of alcohol may lead to the shrinkage of the brain. Scientists believe that the higher the dose of alcohol, the greater the risk of shrinkage of the brain. As we age, our brain is reduced naturally to lose 1.9% of its volume of more than 10 years. In addition, there are diseases affecting the brain. Scientists at the Wellesley College conducted a study looking at the effect of alcohol on the brain.

1.8 thousand people participated in the study. From the year 1971, the participants answered questionnaires regularly and has conducted analysis on them (including brain scans). Detailed description of the experiment is published in Archives of Neurology journal. In the questionnaire to participants indicated how much alcohol was consumed during the period of one week. Review the results of the analysis and survey data led to the conclusion that most of the time and the largest volume of alcohol consumed - the fastest in our brain shrinks.

Interestingly enough, while men are more inclined to excessive alcohol consumption, women have a greater correlation between alcohol consumption and shrinkage of the brain. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the fact that women are more sensitive body and are more receptive to the negative effects of alcohol.

Moderation is the key when it comes to alcohol whether it's red wine, beer or spirits.

Alcohol is very very dehydrating, that's why you always hear about how we should drink at least one big, full glass of water before you go to bed if you've been drinking.

It can help hydrate the brain and body. But if you drink a lot then, no matter what you do that is just bad for your health.

Alcohol damages the body (organs like the liver) but as stated the worst damage is that done to the brain.

Our treatment facility has extensively researched the role of nutrition in recovery to replace lost and damaged brain chemicals. We are specialists in

I am so pleased with this product. If you ever have any stubborn people like me, have them call me. This is the most reliable thing of thing we've ever used. But then it takes moderation to stay healthy.

Alcoholism is a disease.People go to an unconscious state of mind when they drink alcohol and this makes it very obvious that the major damage alcohol makes to a human body is affecting the brain.
At the same time it is harmful for the entire body too.
